I am the owner of Prestige Care & Support which was established in July 2014. Prestige Care & Support is a family run organisation with my sister Michele Oxlee working alongside me as my Assistant Manager. I decided to start the care agency after gaining a real passion for helping those that live in their own homes to remain independent with the care and support of our wonderful team. I have worked in care for six years previously as a Carer with experience in care homes, domiciliary care and a Direct Payment Manager.
Having worked as a carer in domiciliary and a care home I could see how the quality of life for an individual that remained in their own home and their familiar surroundings thrived compared to those that were moved to a care home.
I am proud to say that Prestige Care & Support has grown from strength to strength over the years with our reputation speaking for itself. Having an excellent relationship with the Local Authorities and our fully trained care staff means we have an outstanding trusted foundation to deliver excellent care to our Clients in the community.
My strong passion for care means that I still am keen to have a hands on approach, meeting and speaking with Clients and their loved ones and even delivering care myself at times.
I am very proud of the wonderful care team Prestige Care & Support have with some of our staff having worked for us since day 1 and all of our passion for delivering excellent care will continue for years to come.

I am the Assistant Manager at Prestige Care & Support working alongside my sister Natasha.
Why did I choose care? – many years ago my nan was involved in an accident and started having carers visit a couple of times a day to help her with personal care, meals and drinks. I saw an advert in my local newspaper advertising for carers and thought to myself if someone can do this for a loved one of mine, why can’t I do this for someone else’s. 20+ plus years on and I’m still working in this industry.
I have worked for Prestige Care & Support for just over 11 years but why this Company? I had worked within the local community where I live, a residential care home, caring for residents with Dementia, End of Life Care and general elderly clients that were unable to stay in their own homes. I then moved on to my local hospital as a Health Care Assistant on the Stroke Rehabilitation Ward before I took the step to work with my sister – Natasha in her new venture – Prestige Care & Support Ltd.
I knew my passion was in care in the community as I have already mentioned this is how I started out in care so had no hesitation in saying yes when she offered me the job. The Company has grown over the years from working at her home just the two of us, to now being in our third office with more than double the staff we had. Caring for the elderly is a rewarding experience, the stories you hear about their lives is amazing and heart-warming. Out of the jobs I have had in the past I can honestly say that caring has been the best, just by putting a smile on someone’s face, making them laugh, promoting their independence – allowing them to do things for themselves but being there for support when it is needed. Being able to live in their own homes and still be a part of their community is the best. Our carers make a difference with every visit they attend and that is why I still work in care.
